Meg and Jb's Travel Blog

SE Asia Travel Blog posted August 2, 2006 at 6:55 pm in: by jb

This site is a Wordpress / Googlemaps mashup that uses geocoding (Lat/Lon attached to posts).

Meg and I plan on posting to it while we are travel this winter, whenever we hit up the internet cafes along the way (or from my phone, if its data service works!). Ill be adding a gallery soon that will let is batch upload photos. The intial impetus for the site was for our families and friends, so they can see where we are, what we are doing, and that we are safe.

  1. I just spoke to Megan (you can tell I’m her mother, because everyone else calls her Meg or Megs :*) in LA. It’s all so exciting! I’ll be checking in here regularly, that’s for sure. Thanks, JB, for setting up this travel blog. You’re both in my thoughts, and I wish you only the best. Having said that, I’ll be waiting to hear about all the unexpected stuff…the good and the not-so-good. Be good, be patient, be careful, have fun, take lots of photos, and stay safe. Love you to bits xoxo Mum

  2. Megan and John Neil, how wonderful of you to share. Your mother, Laurie, gave us the website and I for one will continue to keep up. What courage and fortitude you two have. Love and loads of luck going forward. Norma, Pacific Grove, CA.10-10-06
